Dead man walking

Shaped by values and trends of the world;
Led by the stealer, killer, destroyer,
But most, in pursuit of my own pride and pleasure,

I have walked but as a dead man walking.

For Your death and rising up,

Has killed the sentenced man,

And now with a life redeemed

I hope to walk like no man can.

My walk today is shaped, by the Master’s workmanship;

In unity and purpose, in wisdom, love and light,

Now, conscious of the surrounding warfare,
