Sleep and wake

Image
A double haiku on two phases of living and two songs from Kari, my new favorite.

Sights at the airport

known for your ubiquity moving sound creature are you a boon or a bane? lady in red and man in black, together it seems; yet closeness they surely lack! spick in whitened overalls: moustached old men, responding to boarding calls! empty seats and moving lines, landing aeroplanes, then flying up to the skies!

He

He, can fill your emptiness, wipe away your tears! Reach out, He'll hold you for'evr.

prayer

water keeps flowing till it has hewn solid  rock prayer changes lives!

Silence

Image
Your silent tip-toe, leaves a distinct trail behind; messaging my mind!

Sit, walk, stand

From Paul's letter to the Ephesians and Watchman Nees book with the same name: You have made me sit, while you have wrestled my death, and gave me new life. Now I dare to walk, Unknowing the road ahead; But in love and light. Then I hope to stand, Girded with your whole armor; Fleshless foes against.

DREAM

Dream O sleepy head! and let your dream take on wings to make you soar high...

Knot again

Image
See! the crown of thorns, Knots upon His Kingly brow; Bled only for me.
