The Grace Card
Last night I watched a movie with a story about bitterness
and forgiveness.
Bitterness has a way of eating into our lives. It begins destroying the very things we love; our work, our families. God calls to love those who have hurt us, wronged us and those we deeply dislike, even hate. We seek justice to bring us peace! But Justice never brings peace!!! We feel we become "men" by avenging; but true manliness is being able to forgive.
Only forgiveness can heal our deepest wounds, restore relationships and make us whole again. This forgiveness is called grace....being able to forgive and love even the unworthy, the sinner, the criminal, the very ones who have destroyed our lives, even the ones we hate! When we allow grace to work in our lives...we play the grace card...and the card passes on from one to another….bringing healing and newness!
The movie is called "The grace card" and is worth a watch! Here's a trailer of the movie!!
